Software Technologies Inc. is awarded with Ground Control Station
Mission System (GORSİS)
Project in scope of Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned
Air Vehicle (UAV) Development Programme whose main contractor
is TUSAS and contracting agency is SSM in order to fulfill Turkish
Air Force Command’s requirements. With in this scope, MilSOFT
and TUSAS have signed an agreement on 01 August 2008, which became
effective at 21 August 2008.
MilSOFT, in scope
of GORSIS project, is responsible to develop military standardized
below systems based on the experiences gained from UAV Transportable
Image Exploitation System and Remote Imaging Terminal project
which was signed with TUSAS on 19th of April 2005.
Pay Load Control Software which enables to
control and monitor the pay loads on the air vehicle manually
by pilot/operator in Ground Control Station (GCS) and/or automatically
according to the defined mission plan.
Data/ Image/ Voice Communication System which
enables data, image interface, data, image distribution and wire/wireless
and tactical communication between systems in and out of Ground
Control Station and includes Communication Software.
Integrated Test & Monitoring Software which
enables receiving of situational information, monitoring the
functional performances, archiving HW error records for further
analysis of GCS Computers and peripherals in GCS, Air Vehicle
/ Pay Load Control Units, Data Record Units, Mission Computer
and Pay Loads, and presenting these information and/or records
to the operator or maintenance personnel according to their priority.
Mission Planning Software which enables preparation
of Flight and Mission Plans to fulfill the missions of pay Loads
on the Air Vehicle, uploading the prepared Plans to GCS Computer
and related avionics systems (Mission Computer and Flight Control
Computer) and tracking the executed mission in accordance with
The GORSIS Project which will be developed by
MilSOFT will be able to integrate Command and Control Systems
according to international standards.
With this project; MilSOFT will enhance Embedded Systems Development,
Image Exploitation, Command and Control (DDS, RM), and Software
Development & Verification in accordance with DO-178B capabilities;
and will complete her product range in the Image Exploitation and
UAV Mission Systems area which will get MilSOFT closer to her target
of being “Center of Excellence”.
